Our Practice

Our office is conveniently located in the professional building adjacent to Mills Hospital and Surgery Center, in San Mateo. Our office hours are from 830 to 5, monday through friday. The doctors can be reached around the clock for urgent matters for existing patients.

We offer procedures at our accredited office surgical suite, Mills/Peninsula Hospitals, California Pacific Medical Center, and Seton Medical Center. Anesthesia for in-office and hospital procedures is performed by Board Certified Anesthesiologists. If an overnight stay is recommended or desired after your procedure, Mills Hospital Recovery Care Inn offers large, private, and comfortable rooms with expert nursing staff. Family members or caregivers may stay with patients overnight.

Our patient care coordinators are among the most experienced and approachable in the area. The doctor and and staff will guide you through your information gathering and consultation process. Consultations are thorough and compassionate, during which the doctor and the patient work together to design a tailored surgical plan.

"In 2004, I had a tummy tuck and a breast lift by another doctor. I saw Dr. Griffin because I had concerns about my stomach and my breasts. I immediately felt confident with him. I liked his personality and his ability to make me feel at ease. He explained everything to me, in a way that I could understand what he was planning on doing. I also felt that he was on the cutting edge of the latest and newest procedures. At the same time he was very professional about the work that the other doctor had done.

He did the procedure in 2005. I was very happy with the results. The scars seem smaller in width, exactly what I had wanted. I had minimal pain after the first week. There were several follow-up visits. Dr Griffin took very good care of me. He was concerned and protective of me. Making sure I wasn't doing things too soon. The drainage tubes I had, were placed in a better location. I believe my stitches dissolved on their own, so there was no discomfort there.

I trust Dr Griffin for any of my future surgery. I have also had the ability to watch Dr. Griffin with a few of my friends, who have had him do surgery on them as well, and were very pleased with the work he did.

As far as the people in the office, I really enjoyed seeing them as well, I still do. They are always pleasant, informative, professional, and they do this all with a big smile on their faces. You can ask these girls anything and they know the answer.
I also get Restylane and Botox from Dr. Griffin. What I have said above, applies here as well. I can't say enough great things about him and his staff. I look forward to being his patient for many years to come."
